After the Shower comes a.....WEDDING!

After the showering of presents were made on Laura...I was off to JEN'S WEDDING!
Miss Jen is one of my co-workers, and I was so excited to see her on her BIG DAY. It was equally fun being at a wedding and not having anything to drink. Weird, but true. People watching can be SO fun. ANYWHO - the persons in the picture below are myself, the Bride, Lauren, and Lee - just a fancy group of co-workers.

A little Showering...

So - I had a wonderful weekend that consisted of one of best friends being showered with wonderful gifts for her wedding. Below are some of the pics that my camera took...I have terrible photography skills and they didn't come out to great. But, you can get the gist of what went on. Cake eating. Present opening. Picture taking. I can't wait until after Laura is married and we can use all her fun new stuff :P

25 weeks

Maternity Clothes: Pretty much the same. A couple pairs of pre-preg pants still fit, Maternity shirts are a must, though.

Movement: Lots and throughout the day.
Food Cravings: My ice cubed water
What I miss: Still an alcoholic beverage on a warm night...YUM
What I'm looking forward to: Not baby related - but going to my best friend's wedding shower! and going to the doctor's this coming Tuesday....Hearing little Gray-man's heartbeat is the best.
Belly Button: Still out. I don't mind.
Gender: BOY
Emotions: Excitement

Clothes Dividers...:)

So here are the Clothes Dividers I made for Gray-man's closet. I used the leftover paint from his room, and it worked out perfectly! If I try to occupy myself with an actual project, then I'm not buying him loads and loads of clothes...it seems to be working for the time being....

We did look for rocking chairs (which was on our "to-do" list this weekend), and are probably going to purchase one of the ones from Cracker Barrel. A white one, to go with his white and blue room. Dan and I are not the easiest people to please - we literally went into every store to try these suckers out. We even went back to Babies R Us to make sure that we really didn't want a regular old glider (which upon first glance, we knew STILL wasn't for us)

I'm hoping that the regular old Rocking chair will be comfortable enough to sit in for long periods of time. I will be on the search for some very comfy seat cusions to purchase along with the actual rocking chair. Something else for me to research. YEY!

Ice Cream Social Friday

Yes, I am writing a blog post about Ice Cream Social Friday. Why Not?
Since I was in charge of this social extravaganza, I am currently FEET away from an incredible amount of DELICIOUSNESS. And it's all I'm thinking about. All this said Deliciousness is right next to little Gray-Man's Easter Egg. Yep. THAT EASTER EGG. I believe Dan has finally decided to throw it away. It was just so cute.

24 weeks!

So, 24 weeks!

I will start with the quiz: and YES, I am wearing the same outfit as last week - did it on purpose.

How far along: 24 weeks
Weight Gain: +12lbs
Maternity Clothes:Pants still fit. Wearing Maternity Shirts
Stretch Marks: None yet!
Sleep: Definitely been one of the best weeks so far!!
Movement: Lots, and now he's more active during the day
(which is probably why he is FINALLY sleeping a little at night!)
Food Cravings: None
Belly Button IN or OUT: OUT
Gender: BOY
Labor Signs: NONE
What I miss: Still the fruity alcoholic beverage (this is especially true when I
have friends that are getting married.....I'll be chugging sprite a lot next
weekend!)
What I'm looking forward to it: Looking at rocking chairs and toy chests this weekend!

So, pretty much the same as last week. Except a lot more sleep...:)

NURSERY UPDATE: Dan and I were pretty excited this past weekend to finish painting the Nursery. I would upload pictures, but I'm thinking I want to wait until it's almost done for the revealing. I think it's more fun that way. HA
